Why the ocean icon?

Being by the sea holds fond memories including family winter walks, watching the grey seal pups in the dunes, (trying to) sail boats along the Norfolk Broads and of course fish and chips! After a day at the beach I always feel energised and refreshed.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I'm currently an Employee Representative alongside my design role, and i've really enjoyed being part of the board meetings, being able to offer an employee voice and giving input to decision making.

What challenges do you enjoy solving?

I love a good UX challenge. Reviewing a client's website and seeing how we can improve the journey for the user whilst increasing metrics for the client.

Which project at Engage are you proudest of, and why?

Working on the Jet2 campaigns. Over the year, we design and build activations where people can win holidays and other prizes! Each activation typically has a different game mechanic, so its really fun creating different art styles for the various campaigns.

What drew you to a career in digital?

My university degree was in Graphic Design, so it was focused more on print design. However, throughout the course I was more drawn to web design and apps; I enjoyed thinking about user journey, and how design could support them.
